Decorative microcement for wall surfaces. Do NOT use 6820 micro decor in wet zone.
6820 micro decor can be applied in layer of 1-2 mm pr. application, on wall substrate of masonry, painted surfaces, substrate boards, gypsum plaster, tiling, existing screed and concrete.
The substrate must be sound, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles. On dense surfaces such as painted surfaces and ceramic tiles etc. surface must be cleaned and roughly grinded if needed, but not primed.
Priming is carried out when substrate is cleaned and dry. Prime absorbent substrates like concrete, lightweight concrete, plaster and brick with mira 4170 decor primer diluted with water in the ratio of 1 part primer to 3 parts water. On less absorbent surfaces, ratio is 1 part primer to 2 parts water. Boards are primed with concentrated 4170 decor primer.
3 kg 6820 micro decor is mixed with 0.8-0.9 l clean water to a lump free mass by using a slow speed mixing drill for 2-3 min. Apply wall plaster on primed wall surface with a wide trowel or the like. Application: 1-2 times until surface is fully covered and desired effect and structure are obtained. If more layers have to be applied first layer must be surface dry, however, no earlier than 3 hours.
Note: application of 6820 micro decor must continue uninterruptedly until entire surface is fully covered in order to avoid colour differences. Stopping of application must only be carried out at corners, masonry with groove or the like.
The tools are cleaned in water immediately after use. Finishing treatment with 4720 decor topcoating.
The product contains no items subject to REACH registration. Normal safety precautions for handling chemical substances must be followed.

Store and transport dry. The product keeps technical specification minimum 24 months after production date in unopened packaging. Can be used hereafter; technical properties may, however, change; e.g. setting time may be extended.
Application
Apply the mortar with a trowel in a layer up to 2 mm thick. The trowel creates differences in tone, so avoid long sweeping movements in one direction.
Apply the plaster to the substrate in short and curved sweeps.
To achieve a smooth and level surface, apply another layer no less than 3 h after the first one.
When the plaster has dried, smooth the surface with fine sandpaper.
Finish
To coat the surface with mira 4720 decor topcoating, the surface must be dry, allow at least 6 – 12 h.
