supercolour excellent gives a dense and compact grouted joint with minimal risk for bacteria penetration and discolouration of grouted joints. The hardened grout withstands daily cleaning without colour off-set and therefore is recommended for wet rooms.
supercolour excellent is a dry product which is ready to use after mixing with water. The grout is easy to work with and the joint is easily filled.
Cement based, rapid hardening, polymer strengthened, flexible, frostsafe and water resistant grout in power form.
For grouting of tiles/ceramic clinker on floors and walls, indoors and outdoors, in wet and dry areas. Can be used outdoors on facades.
Risk of bacteria penetration in dense and compact grout through capillary absorption is minimal. The hardened grout withstands heavy loads and intensive cleaning. supercolour excellent is therefore recommended in wetrooms.
Joint width 2-10 mm.
supercolour excellent can be applied to all types of ceramic tiles and natural stones. Particularly suitable for slightly non- absorbent tiles and impermeable materials.
Joints and tiles must be clean, free from dust, oil, dirt, grease, and the like.
Mix 5 kg power with approx. 1.3-1.4 litres clean water. Use glue mixer or slow revolving hand drilling machine in order to avoid mixing air into grout. Make sure that powder and water are within the recommended working temperature. Mix 2-3 minutes to a lumpfree mixture. The grout is now ready to use and can be applied in 30-45 min. after mixing.
Apply grout throughly into joint with rubber spatula or grou- ting trowel which is drawn diagonally over the joints. When the grout in the joint is surface-dry but still workable, the excess grout on tiles shall be lossened with a moistened padmaster/sponge. The tiles surface is then cleaned with hard wringed sponge/Wash Boy and joints are finally shaped. Surface is smoothed and cleaned for cement slurry film and laitance.
Avoid wind, draught and heat exposure from eg. sunlight and underfloor heating during construction and curing time. Underfloor heating can be started slowly after 7-8 days.
After approx. 2 days joints can be cleaned for any hardened laitance using 7120 ceramic cleaner.
Dependent on absorbing capacity of the tiles and room temperature the grouted tile surface can withstand light foot traffic/load after 2-3 hours and maximum loading after 7 days.
The product does not contain Portland Cement and is therefore not subject to occupational hygiene measures for cement.

Transport and store dry. The product keeps technical specification minimum 12 months after production date in unopened packaging. Can be used hereafter; technical properties may, however, change; e.g. setting time may be extended.
