6600 cemplan is recommended for levelling concrete, screed, and ceramic tiles.

6600 cemplan is a dry product that is ready to use after mixing with water.

Product description

Cement based, polymer reinforced, floor levelling compound.

Application areas

For plain levelling in wet as well as dry areas. 6600 cemplan can be applied with hand tools or mixing pump.

Type of substrate

6600 cemplan can be applied on substrate of concrete, screed and lightweight concrete.

Pre-treatment of substrate

The substrate must be dry, coherent and cleaned of dust, grease and dirt. Any cured laitance and weak parts of the substrate must be cleared and repaired. Loose dust to be removed with vacuum cleaner. Use mira 7110 base cleaner to clean the substrate using high pressure water or other effective method.

Priming

Absorbent substrates is primed with 1 part of 4180 primer diluted in 3 parts of water. The primer is worked well into the substrate with a brush. When more layers are applied, each layer should be primed before applying the next.

Application

15 kg powder to be mixed with 3,6 - 3,7 litres of clean water. For the best result, mix a minimum of 2 minutes with a cement mixer or pump, until the mixture is homogenous.

The flowability can be tested using the flow test. Place the test tube on a level surface, fill the tube to the top edge with mixed 6600 cemplan, lift the tube so the compound can flow freely. When the compound has flowed completely by its own, the diameter is measured (see technical data).

The floor levelling compound can be applied in approx. 20-30 minutes after mixing at room temperature 10-20°C. The compound should be poured out onto the floor immediately after mixing. 6600 cemplan levels out by itself, but can be smoothened and spread into corners by using the smooth side of a trowel.

Depending on room temperature and air moisture the layer is ready for light foot traffic after 1,5-2 hours. Further treatment can begin after 24 hours. In wet rooms, use mira 4400 multicoat waterproofing on top of the floor screed.

Working environment

The product contains cement. Working hygienic rules for cement must be followed.

6600 cemplan is guaranteed chrome neutralized in minimum 12 months.

Storage and transportation

Transport and store dry. 6600 cemplan keeps technical specification minimum 6 months after production date in unopened packaging. Can be used hereafter, technical properties may however, change; for example, the setting time may be extended.
