Product description

Grey, cement based, moisture proof filler plaster for levelling mineral substrates.

Application areas

Suitable for filling cracks and holes in walls or ceilings. mira 6810 cemplaster creates a nice finishing on the surface in both dry and wet rooms.

Type of substrate

6810 cemplaster is suitable for use on concrete, lightweight concrete, masonry and other similar mineral substrates.

Pre-treatment of substrate

The substrate must be dry, coherent, clean of grease, dust and other dirt. Cement milk, loose particles and weak parts must be removed. Clean the substrate with mira 7110 base cleaner, using a pressure washer or other efficient method.

Priming

On concrete, use mira 4180 primer diluted in 1-3 parts water, depending on the porosity of the substrate. On non-absorbent substrates, use mira 4140 contact primer. Use a brush or broom to work the primer into the substrate.

Application

25 kg powder to be mixed with 6,5 litres of clean water. For the best result, mix a minimum of 2 minutes with a cement mixer or pump, until the mixture is homogenous. Let the mixed mortar sit for 15 minutes and mix again. After that, the mortar is ready to be used.

The pot life of the prepared mix is approximately 4 hours at a temperature of 10-20 ̊C.

The plaster is applied to the substrate with a trowel in a 2-10 mm layer. Excess mortar is removed from the trowel, put back into the bucket, mixed, and used again. The applied layer must not dry too fast and must be moistened with water is necessary.

When applying in multiple layers, the previous layer must be fully dry before the next layer can be applied. After 48 hours, the surface can be painted using alkali resistant paint or covered with wallpaper, ceramic tiles or other similar covering.

Working environment

The product contains cement. Working environment rules for cement must be followed.

6810 cemplaster is guaranteed chrome neutralized in minimum 12 months.
