5360 silicone reibe is used as a finishing layer for various substrates on inner and outer walls.
5360 silicone reibe is a part of the miratherm External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS). The product is used as a finishing render on top of a mira 5300 netfix reinforcement layer.
The product is ready to use, if necessary, add a little bit of water (not more than 10%).
Decorative render based on silicone wax for walls. Used as a finishing render on different substrates both indoors and outdoors.
The substrate must have carrying capacity and be clean and free of dust. Salts, mold, algae and other factors that hinder adhesion must be removed or processed. Weaker parts of the substrate must be removed and repaired. The substrate is primed with mira 5360 quartz grund primer.
Mineral substrates as well as mira 5300 netfix must be let dry for at least 48 hours before the application of 5335 quartz grund. In wet and cold weather, let dry for longer. Polymerous substrates must be fully dry before mira 5335 quartz grund can be applied.
mira 5335 quartz grund must be tinted to be the same colour as the finishing render, in order to avoid the primer from being visible from beneath the render.
If mira 5300 netfix has been left uncovered for an extended period of time, the soiled surface must be cleaned using appropriate facade cleaning products and a pressure washer. Let the surface dry and then cover with mira 5335 quartz grund.
mira 5360 silicone reibe is a ready-to-use finishing render. The mortar must be mixed thoroughly before use. If necessary, a small amount of water can be added in order to make the product better to work with. Ensure that the same amount of water is added evenly to all buckets to avoid tonal differences.
mira 5360 silicone render is applied to mira 5300 netfix or other substrate that is primed with mira 5335 quartz grund.
The product is applied with a stainless steel reamer. Excess product is removed, leaving exactly a one grain thick layer. The excess mortar is mixed back into the bucket. Directly after application, the surface should be worked with a plastic reamer to achieve the desired structure.
It is not recommended to apply the decorative render to too large of an area at once, because the surface must be worked with the reamer before the render can dry. The render can be given texture during about 15-30 minutes after application.
Clean the tools immediately after use with water. If the product gets on other decorative surfaces, clean them with water immediately.
The render is touch dry after about 30 minutes in +20°C/65 % conditions. The exact drying time depends on the air temperature, wind and air moisture. The render is fully dry after 2-3 days. Cold and wet weather prolong drying time. While drying, the surface must be protected from rainfall and frost.
The minimal air and substrate temperature is +6°C. Avoid too high temperatures and direct solar radiation, if necessary, use scaffold sheets.
The render can be washed with a pressure washer and facade cleaning products if necessary. If desired, the render can be painted with silicone facade paint.
Normal safety precautions when working with products containing chemicals must be followed.
Transport and store dry and safe from frost. Product will maintain technical specifications minimum 24 months from production date in unopened packing.
